About us
The Blandelles are a collection of professionals who have carved out a niche in the northeast Texas and southern Oklahoma area by playing "Rock and Roll the Way You Remember It" since 1985. The members have day jobs in teaching, the legal profession, and banking.
About our name: The band was created by some faculty members who taught at Bland High School in Merit, Texas - hence the name, "Blandelles." Only one member is left from 1985, and none of the current band members have taught at Bland since the 1980s. Since changing our name would mean starting over again, we've kept the Blandelles name all these years.
